Heritage Demonstrations

Cromer and Sheringham's crab and lobster fishing industries have supplied England with a rich abundance of crustacea since the early 19th Century, and today they still offer a delicious and sustainable harvest from the sea... Our crab dressing competitions are always great fun! The Museums At Night Project is also offering a range of events in both towns.

The Festival Team

The Festival's team of volunteers from both towns aim to make each Crab & Lobster Festival a successful, memorable, fun, entertaining and informative weekend. It's such a wonderful way to get together and celebrate our way of life here... and a great opportunity to encourage visitors to come along and enjoy what we have to offer during the early part of the season.

A huge thanks for the great photographs in this site: Chris Taylor, Sean Parnell
